A couple of landscape images today. The first one is from last Sunday, after our senior session. There were some pretty ominous clouds building on the horizon. I liked the separation between the two different cloud banks. The second image is what I like to call, “Derek’s Tree”. We have a running debate at our cabin that we should cut this down. It is a beautiful tree, and very healthy, but it really does sit right in the path of our awesome view of the lake. Maybe after a few years and it gets a little tired, we can let it go.
A big post today! On Friday evening we were immersed into a couple of very different ideas of “culture”. One of our good friends has really done well with her art work, and had a showing downtown. After mixing it up with the art crowd of downtown Omaha, we headed out to Bennington for a good old fashioned car show. One extreme to the next!
