With some help from one of the friends of the bride, we were able to come up with this.  It is always great to have an image in your mind, and be able to capture that image exactly how you wanted it to turn out.  Cool stuff.

One of our formal portraits from Saturday.  I had never shot in this church before, and it was definitely a cool place to work.  This is the First Unitarian Church at 30th and Farnam.  Very old school building, with lots of really good light.

What a great Saturday morning!  Luke competed in a Muddy Buddy Race.  He did great and I think he had a lot of fun!

While out cruising some really cool back roads up by our cabin, we came across this sign.  It has obviously seen better days.  My favorite place to be is on a Minimum Maintenance Road in rural Nebraska!

Just got back from our cabin today.  I will have a few cool images to share over the next couple of days.  The first one here, is sunrise on Monday morning.  We have one of the best views in the world, and there is nothing like having a cup of coffee watching the sun come up over the lake.  The second image is from the fire Dan and I had Monday evening.  The weather was perfect.

An image from just out front at our house.  The United States Air Force has a very positive presence in our community and it is always great to hear the “Sound of Freedom” as they cruise over our subdivision.

Happy Mother’s Day!

A couple of images from our incredibly busy Friday.  Austin was able to qualify for the District Track Meet.  It didn’t go the greatest, but we were proud he made it.  Luke had a great game that evening, he played really well and had a great assist.  Here, he is taking a breather and hanging out with his teammates.

The infamous “Tug of War” at field day for my 5th grader.  This was just starting to get very serious.  The teacher had pitted the boys verse girls and the girls had just won two times in a row.  These 5th grade boys were feeling a little bruised!  We did figure out that the field was on a slight hill, and whoever was on top usually won….
